Excel-lent Adventures in Export Analysis
So, you’ve exported your iCarol data to an Excel-readable format – now what?! Microsoft Excel is a powerful tool for organizing and analyzing your data, but using it to its full potential is less complicated that you might think! In this session we’ll explore how to:

  • Access Standard, Scheduled, and Template-built Exports from iCarol
  • Understand Excel Terminology
  • Navigate Excel Basics such as the menu, and ribbon options
  • Leverage often-overlooked tools such as Tables, Freezing Panes, Sorting and Filtering
  • Understanding and Creating Pivot Tables

Extreme Makeover: iCarol Edition
We’ve embarked on a journey to bring a new and modern User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) to our customers! This session will look at the purpose and plans behind modernizing the iCarol experience and provide a sneak peek at where we’re going next on this UI/UX enhancement journey. Your feedback is welcome, and there will also be opportunities for feedback on the new UI/UX during our user group session in the afternoon. In this session you’ll learn:

  • An overview of the iCarol UI/UX Modernization Project
  • Our goals and the expected benefits, such as standardizing the experience with new layouts and simplifying user training
  • How these updates will support accessibility needs
  • Where we started and lessons already learned
  • What’s in progress now
  • What’s next!


Back to Basics: Building a Strong Resource Database Foundation
The path to achieving customer satisfaction and positive outcomes in the Information and Referral field starts long before the consumer interaction begins. It starts with the efforts your Resource Specialists and Managers put in to building your database and consistently applying best practices aligned with Inform USA Standards. Adherence to these standards ensures your consumers will be served quickly, efficiently, and provided with the best service options to meet their needs and produce good outcomes. In this session we’ll address some of the key building blocks to good Resource Database Management that set you – and your consumers – up for success, including:

  • The structure and hierarchy of resource records
  • Field visibility selections
  • Field choices and other options
  • Resource Advanced Search and Bulk Editing

iCarol’s AI Integration with Yanzio: Expanding Resource Database Potential
Everywhere we turn, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the hot topic of conversation, and both apprehension and optimism abound. We’re excited to be on the forefront of this innovation through iCarol integrations with the trusted I&R experts at Yanzio – AI-based cloud software tools and services for Information and Referral.

In this session we’ll be joined by Neil McKechnie – iCarol’s founder and current CEO of Yanzio. We’ll touch on the latest around AI, specifically why and how it can be useful within the field of I&R, and some of the Yanzio options that accelerate your I&R work. (Be sure to join Neil’s Inform USA session “AI + I&R =A Perfect Match!” on Tuesday For much more on Yanzio’s tools). Following the overview, the iCarol team will demonstrate Yanzio integrations available within the iCarol software, and the exciting possibilities the future holds.

The iCarol user group is your chance to learn about the features/enhancements we have planned for implementation in the coming months, and provide your feedback and input to the iCarol Product Management team on what features you’d like to see implemented in the future. In this session we will:

  • Review some of the released features and enhancements from the past year
  • Share features and enhancements in progress and coming soon
  • Invite your industry expertise and votes on top ideas to help us prioritize future development
