How do you reset or change passwords in iCarol?

 

Like any other important application, users are recommended to regularly change their passwords. Admins can supervise passwords for all users.

  If a user wants to change his/her password, they can do this by clicking on the “Change Password” link in the left navigation bar inside iCarol, or on the “Change Password” button in their profile. For security purposes, it needs to be at least eight letters long. If a user has forgotten their password, there are two ways to reset the password: 1. From the iCarol sign on page. The person can enter the email address they use to sign on to iCarol, then scroll down and follow the listed instructions in the yellow box below. The new temporary password will be emailed to that user. In addition, the password will also be emailed to that Admin and displayed on the Admin’s screen. Once the user signs on to iCarol he/she will be prompted to change the temporary password to anything they wish. 2. A person with Admin or Supervisor security level in iCarol can re-set the password of each user in the admin tab inside the user profile. The new temporary password will be emailed to that user. In addition, the password will also be emailed to that Admin and displayed on the Admin’s screen. Once the user signs on to iCarol he/she will be prompted to change the temporary password to anything they wish.
