iCarol 3-day Administrator Training this November
On November 12, 13, and 14, 2024, iCarol staff will hold comprehensive training sessions tailored for Program Managers, Supervisors, and others in leadership roles who administer iCarol systems at their agencies.
Over the course of three days, our goal will be to cover all the major areas of iCarol operations, and give staff of iCarol customer organizations a full scope of their iCarol system capabilities — knowledge that will ensure they can get the most value and efficiency from their iCarol system, and allows them to train their frontline staff on how their agency wishes to administer iCarol’s capabilities.
Here’s a breakdown of each day’s agenda…
Day 1: Admin Training (November 12)
The summit kicks off with a deep dive into iCarol’s administrative tools. Participants will learn how to navigate the iCarol Help Center, manage support tickets, and ensure smooth communication with the iCarol team. Sessions will also cover Volunteer and Staff Management, providing insights on security settings, password/access management, and advanced features like Single Sign-On. You’ll also explore how to build and configure Contact Forms, manage shifts, and utilize tools for Profile Management, making it easier to track client interactions and demographic data. The day concludes with a session on Sharing and Collaboration, which focuses on how to share data internally and externally through APIs, exports, and more.
Day 2: Resource Management & Contact Center Training (November 13)
On Day 2, attendees can choose between two tracks:
Track 1: Resource Management
This track covers the fundamentals of Resource Management, including creating, editing, and categorizing resources, including use of the 211 Human Service Indexing System (211HSIS). Sessions will highlight tools like Advanced Resource Search and Bulk Editing, allowing efficient updates and organization of resources. You’ll also learn how to empower consumers to self-serve through public directories or APIs, and manage verification of resource records submitted to you from service providers through tools like Automated Verification of Resources.
Track 2: Contact Center Training
In the Contact Center track, participants will explore iCarol’s Inbound and Outbound Contact Logging tools, focusing on documenting interactions and using Contact Forms. Training will also dive into Profile Management, allowing staff to efficiently manage client records and track previous interactions. Additional sessions on Feedback and Supervision and Follow-ups will guide supervisors on how to provide real-time feedback and automate client follow-ups through email and SMS, helping streamline care coordination.
Day 3: Insights and Outcomes (November 14)
The final day offers insights on iCarol’s reporting capabilities. The Reporting on User Access, Activities, and Security session addresses best practices for ensuring system security and monitoring user activities. Participants will also learn how to generate Resource and Referral Reports, highlighting which resources are most often used, and gain insights into Contact Record data for improved service tracking and impact reporting. The day wraps up with an in-depth session on Exporting Data using iCarol’s tools, ensuring you can harness your data to optimize your operations.
The three-day event concludes with an iCarol User Group session, where users can provide feedback and contribute ideas for future product developments.
