iCarol Integration with Yanzio Launching in July

If you attended the Inform USA conference or spoke with those who did, you know that Artificial Intelligence (AI) was the hottest topic. Neil McKechnie’s session, “AI + I&R: A Perfect Match!” drew a standing-room-only crowd, underscoring the industry’s excitement about AI.

At iCarol, we’ve been exploring AI’s potential for some time, and we share Neil’s enthusiasm for its benefits in the Information and Referral (I&R) industry. We’re thrilled to release an integration in July that allows you to use Yanzio‘s tools directly within your iCarol system, along with a self-serve free trial of the integration!

What Will This Integration Do?

Yanzio will assist with your database curation based on your unique style guide. Specifically, Yanzio will:

1. Evaluate resource records using your style guide rules.
2. Score how well each record adheres to your style guide.
3. Suggest edits for improvement.
4. Explain the reasons behind each suggestion.

Your Resource Specialists can then:

1. Decide how or if they want to edit the record.
2. Save and implement the suggestions.
3. Provide optional feedback to Yanzio to help improve the AI tools.

Once the Yanzio integration is available, you can start a free trial to test its features. The trial includes a sample style guide and allows for 10 record evaluations per month. You can easily activate the trial and upgrade to the full Yanzio integration directly within your iCarol system!

To upgrade to the full Yanzio integration, you will need:

1. A Yanzio subscription, available at Yanzio.ai.
2. An iCarol Resource API key to enable communication between iCarol and Yanzio.
