Shift Credits

In most cases you want someone who works a shift to get credit for the total number of hours the shift lasted. But you also can change the number of “credits” any shift is worth to incentivize people to take harder to fill shifts. For instance, you may want a phone worker who takes a six-hour overnight shift to get double credit for that shift.
Generally, iCarol’s system will automatically track shift hours and credits for users as long as the user created at least one call report during a shift (proving that they did in fact work the shift) and that they signed on from a certified computer during or just before the shift started. If the user is more than a few minutes late to sign in, iCarol will automatically alert the admin, and the admin can make a decision about whether to give the user credit for the shift. Admins can also assign or remove shift credits to users after the fact.
Note that you can generate a Worker Credits Report from within the reports function of iCarol anytime you want a rundown of how many credits each of your shift workers has accumulated to date.
